HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!!!!!!!

It is my mom's birthday and I know she loves me the most out of all her kids cause she is making it a point to be in Utah for her birthday and to spend it with me! Mom and dad are driving up from Colorado today and will spend the next couple of days here with me and Megan. I am so excited to be able to spend my mom's birthday with her. She is the coolest lady I know and I hope she has a great day! (Of course, how could she not when she is spending it with her favorite daughter?)



She is always so happy and always has "kind-soft-comforting" words to say! I love you momma, you're the best!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYDNEY!!!!

Little Sydney turns 5 today. I was in Nampa the day that she was born.. and I have been having blast with her ever since. I love it when she calls people Chowda, and when she walks up my legs and then does a flip, and when makes a nest out of a blanket on my leg and styas there until my legs are SUPER sore. She is just the most fun little girl and i can't believe shes 5 today!!!

Wednesday Adventure

So my dad has been trying to get ahold of my brother John for the past couple of days with no success. He made it sound pretty urgent so I offered to drive down to Springville and talk to John for him.

After I got off of work, Megan and I drove down there, but couldn't find the address where he was supposed to live. So we then drove to Spanish Fork and looked for the house where he used to live with Elaine's sister. We found the house (Megan has a fantastic memory) but it appeared to be basically abandoned.

After we busted out in Spanish Fork, we went back to Springville and got dinner, thinking we would give John a little bit more time to get home. We ate pizza and returned to the address that we had, but the man who lived there told us that he had never heard of John. So we returned home without ever finding John. Hopefully where-ever he is, things are going well!!!

Happy Birthday USA

Had the funnest weekend in Idaho with the girls. Me and Megan went up Thursday night so spend the Fourth of July weekend with Liz. Then Friday, we all went to the Lake for a bit.. until it started raining on us. Then that night we ate pizza and watched movies like Connie and Carla. One of my all-time favorites!!

Saturday was amazing. The parade in Idaho Falls was excellent. We had so much fun and it really was worlds better than the little dinky parades I had previously attended. Then we ate lunch at McDonalds and headed to the park where we spent the next 10 hours.

We played games, listened to music and ate lots of puppy chow while we were waiting for the fireworks that night. Then, I made a couple of large walks. One to Arctic Circle to use the restroom... that was probably five blocks. And then the big one was when we thought it was going to start raining, I offered to walk to Wal-Mart and get umbrellas for me and Liz. That was about 6 blocks and it started raining as I was walking there. By the time I made it there and back, the rain had stopped and I had developed blisters between my toes from the flip flops I was wearing. That was fun... NOT.

But it was all worth it that night when the fireworks started. They really were fantastic. And the people next to us had a radio that was playing some "American" songs that i had been waiting all day to hear. It was outstanding.

By the time we got home on Sunday, I was exhausted, but I had so much fun and I'm so glad that we decided to go spend the weekend with Liz rather than spending it here in boring Provo by ourselves!

I'M GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!

Last night I got my tickets to go to Texas for the family reunion this New Years. I will be going to Denver on the 23rd, after I get off of work and will spend Christmas Eve with Carolyn and Bryan and most importantly... their brand new baby!!

Then we will all go together to Texas on Christmas morning. I will spend about 10 days in Texas with the family I am so stinking excited for this reunion. The last one was so much fun, I can't wait for all of us to get together again. Then, I will come on on the 4th and get back to being a working girl.

I'm so glad that I found tickets to go and I seriously can't wait to see the family. They are the greatest!!!!

Post Camping Woes

So remember a few days ago how I was so super excited to go camping?? Well, we went and it was super fun. Definitely the most social I've been with my ward by a while since I've lived here. I'm so glad I went and I had a really good time....

BUT............

I got eaten alive.. and that is not an exaggeration. Megan and I went early to help set up tents and while we were kind of out in the brush putting tents up, I got so many mosquito bites. I got 11 on one arm 8 on the other, 4 on my legs, one on my neck and one on my forehead. It was horrid. I thought I was going to die. I have been itchy for the past 2 days and I am just ready for these stupid bites to go away and stop bothering me. It is so miserable!!!

Camping!!!!

So my ward is having a camp-out tonight and I'm so excited!! I haven't been camping since last summer and that was SO fun. Hopefully tonight is as good as that one was!!!
